1. Overview

Final Call ("the App") is a macOS application developed by Vantica UG. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and what rights you have. Section 9 explains what happens when you visit our website www.finalcallapp.com.

2. Data We Access

2.1 Calendar Data

The App accesses your calendar data via the macOS Calendar app (EventKit) to display upcoming meetings and extract meeting links. This includes any calendars synced to macOS Calendar, such as iCloud, Google Calendar, or Microsoft Exchange/Outlook accounts managed through macOS System Settings.

  • Storage: All calendar data is processed and stored locally on your device only

  • Transmission: Calendar data is never transmitted to external servers or third parties

  • Purpose: Solely to display your agenda and trigger meeting reminders

2.2 Camera (Optional)

The App may request access to your Mac's camera to display a live webcam preview within the meeting overlay.

  • Storage: No video is recorded or stored

  • Transmission: No video data is transmitted

  • Purpose: Live preview only, visible exclusively to you within the App

  • Control: You can disable this feature at any time in App Settings

2.3 Microphone (Optional)

The App may request access to your microphone to display an audio level indicator (VU meter) in the meeting overlay as a pre-meeting soundcheck.

  • Storage: No audio is recorded or stored

  • Transmission: No audio data is transmitted

  • Purpose: Visual level display only

  • Control: You can disable this feature at any time in App Settings

3. Data the App Does NOT Collect

The App itself does not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Personal identification data

  • Usage analytics or telemetry

  • Calendar content to remote servers

  • Audio or video recordings

  • Crash data to third-party services (unless explicitly consented to via macOS system settings)

4. Third-Party Services

Meeting applications: The App integrates with the following services solely to open meeting links in your default browser or the respective application:

Zoom · Google Meet · Microsoft Teams · Webex · Slack · FaceTime · Skype · GoTo Meeting · Whereby · Discord · BlueJeans · Wire · Jitsi · Nextcloud Talk · Amazon Chime · RingCentral · 8x8 Meet · Zoho Meeting

Final Call does not share any data with these services. Meeting links are opened using standard system calls (e.g., openURL).

RevenueCat: The App uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions (license). RevenueCat processes App Store transaction receipts and purchase identifiers to validate your license and subscription status. No calendar, camera, or microphone data is shared with RevenueCat. 5. Music Services

The App may pause Apple Music or Spotify playback when you join a meeting. This is handled via AppleScript, a local macOS automation technology. No account data, credentials, or listening history is accessed or transmitted.

6. Data Retention

Since the App stores no personal data on external servers, there is no data retention policy applicable to server-side storage. All locally cached calendar data follows the same lifecycle as the App itself and is removed upon uninstallation.

7. Children's Privacy

Final Call is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

8. Your Rights

As the App does not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no App data to access, correct, export, or delete on our end. For data processed when you visit our website, see Section 9. For any questions, contact us at: mail@vantica.de

9. Website (www.finalcallapp.com): Cookies, Measurement and Advertising

This section applies only to visits to our website, not to the use of the App.

9.1 Hosting

The website is hosted with Framer (Framer B.V., Amsterdam, Netherlands). When you visit the site, technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time of the request, and browser information is processed in server logs to deliver and secure the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

9.2 Your consent

When you first visit the site, a banner asks whether we may measure how visitors use the site and how our ads perform. Until you agree, no analytics or advertising cookies are set and no measurement data is sent to Google. We use Google Consent Mode: without your consent, the tags run in a restricted mode and do not store cookies for analytics or advertising.

Legal basis: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw or change your decision at any time with effect for the future by using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of any page of our website.

9.3 Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to manage the measurement tags described below. Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies and does not access the data collected by the tags. It loads from Google servers, which receive your IP address when the tag manager loads.

9.4 Google Analytics 4

If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how visitors reach our site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers and collects, for example, pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, and referrer. We use it to improve our website.

9.5 Google Ads and conversion measurement

We advertise on Google Search. If you consent, we measure whether a click on one of our ads leads to a click on the download link for the App in the Mac App Store. For this, Google Ads sets a cookie when you arrive via an ad (including the Google Click ID) and we send a conversion event when you click the download link. We do not see which Google user clicked. Whether you then download or buy the App in the Mac App Store is not visible to us through this measurement; Apple's own terms and privacy policy apply there.

9.6 Provider and data transfers

The services are provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA. Data may be transferred to the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which is the basis for the transfer. More information: policies.google.com/privacy and Google Ads Data Processing Terms.

9.7 Storage period

Your cookie choice is stored in your browser. Google Analytics data is retained for the period configured in our account (at most 14 months). Advertising cookies expire after at most 90 days.

9.8 Your rights regarding website data

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For requests, contact mail@vantica.de.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
