1. Overview

Final Call ("the App") is a macOS application developed by Vantica UG. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and what rights you have.

2. Data We Access

2.1 Calendar Data

The App accesses your calendar data via the macOS Calendar app (EventKit) to display upcoming meetings and extract meeting links. This includes any calendars synced to macOS Calendar, such as iCloud, Google Calendar, or Microsoft Exchange/Outlook accounts managed through macOS System Settings.

  • Storage: All calendar data is processed and stored locally on your device only

  • Transmission: Calendar data is never transmitted to external servers or third parties

  • Purpose: Solely to display your agenda and trigger meeting reminders

2.2 Camera (Optional)

The App may request access to your Mac's camera to display a live webcam preview within the meeting overlay.

  • Storage: No video is recorded or stored

  • Transmission: No video data is transmitted

  • Purpose: Live preview only, visible exclusively to you within the App

  • Control: You can disable this feature at any time in App Settings

2.3 Microphone (Optional)

The App may request access to your microphone to display an audio level indicator (VU meter) in the meeting overlay as a pre-meeting soundcheck.

  • Storage: No audio is recorded or stored

  • Transmission: No audio data is transmitted

  • Purpose: Visual level display only

  • Control: You can disable this feature at any time in App Settings

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

Final Call does not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Personal identification data

  • Usage analytics or telemetry

  • Calendar content to remote servers

  • Audio or video recordings

  • Crash data to third-party services (unless explicitly consented to via macOS system settings)

4. Third-Party Services

Meeting applications: The App integrates with the following services solely to open meeting links in your default browser or the respective application:

Zoom · Google Meet · Microsoft Teams · Webex · Slack · FaceTime · Skype · GoTo Meeting · Whereby · Discord · BlueJeans · Wire · Jitsi · Nextcloud Talk · Amazon Chime · RingCentral · 8x8 Meet · Zoho Meeting

Final Call does not share any data with these services. Meeting links are opened using standard system calls (e.g., openURL).

RevenueCat: The App uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat processes App Store transaction receipts and purchase identifiers to validate your license status. No calendar, camera, or microphone data is shared with RevenueCat. RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy

5. Music Services

The App may pause Apple Music or Spotify playback when you join a meeting. This is handled via AppleScript, a local macOS automation technology. No account data, credentials, or listening history is accessed or transmitted.

6. Data Retention

Since Final Call stores no personal data on external servers, there is no data retention policy applicable to server-side storage. All locally cached calendar data follows the same lifecycle as the App itself and is removed upon uninstallation.

7. Children's Privacy

Final Call is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

8. Your Rights

As no personal data is collected or stored by Vantica UG, there is no personal data to access, correct, export, or delete on our end. For questions, contact us at: mail@vantica.de

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
